Testosterone Increases Longevity
It is very important especially once one is in their mid thirties and on to have not only their external muscles hard but far more their internal muscles. Testosterone is the main male hormone that does this job. The reason it is so important is because recent clinical studies on people have clearly shown a far higher mortality rate in those with weakened internal and external muscles do to the lack of testosterone.
This is because low testosterone makes the heart weaker and therefore more susceptible to disease. There is also higher prevalence in those with low testosterone to have depression, coronary heart disease, osteoporosis, fracture rates, frailty and even dementia.1 Low testosterone levels are also associated with reduced pumping ability of the heart and a higher prevalence of coronary artery diseases and aortic atherosclerosis. There is now hundreds of studies in medical literature showing the health benefits and safety of testosterone therapy even though back in November of 2003 the Institute of Medicine declared that “existing scientific evidence does not justify claims that testosterone treatments can relieve or prevent certain age related problems in men.” Because there has been so much abuse in the past beginning as early as the 1900s with so-called testosterone products there still is a lot of misinformed negative concerns by some in the medical community. The medical establishment and still many misinformed medical doctors will say things like, “I don’t prescribe steroids,” “testosterone causes heart attacks,” and “testosterone causes prostrate cancer.” Recently, experts at Harvard Medical School have authored a new book titled, “Testosterone for Life” (McGraw-Hill; 2008). This book carries significant weight and influence in the medical establishment because these are the top experts and sources of authority that they look up to. This book once for all buries all the biased and ignorant misconceptions of the medical establishment on testosterone therapy. One of the many things that this book reveals is that the long thought belief that increased testosterone increases prostrate cancer risk is a complete lie and that in fact increased testosterone decreases the risk of prostate cancer. You can read a whole chapter of this book online by clicking here. There are now many doctors in the United States that know that testosterone therapy has significant health benefits but there is still much information and prejudice in the medical establishment. I myself live in Canada and have found a doctor that is a graduate of the American Academy Of Antiaging Medicine. Last I talked to her about a year ago she told me that in Canada she is not allowed to prescribe to me bio identical testosterone which is very safe and even shown to reduce cancer. There are some good pro hormones but they are considered to be like steroids and therefore also not available. I have had to find natural non-hormonal products to increase my muscle strength externally and internally. From my research the one that looks the most promising is E-BOL. It is also known to also have significant benefit for the thyroid gland.
